Frequently asked questions
-
What is a home kitchen?
All this means is that we use our personal kitchen to bake all of our goods. We are subject to the Texas Cottage Food Law, which you can read more about here: texascottagefoodlaw.com
Per the law, please know: This food is made in a home kitchen and is not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or local health department.

How long do cookies and bread last?
This partly depends on how they’re stored, but in our experience, cookies are best within 3 days, but are still good up to 5 days (they just may be a bit drier). And bread is good for at least a week.
-
Why does the bread require so much advanced notice?
All of our bread is made with a natural starter and not a store-bought yeast. As a result, each loaf we make undergoes a 3-day bread-making process. We’ll let you decide if it’s worth the wait! (We’re biased, but we think so!)
